Once upon a time, a book editor, designer and publicist saw a gap in the market for a fresh approach to book creation and promotion. They joined forces, meeting authors, book bloggers and other publishing professionals along the way, to form one big 'book collective'. Their passion for books and decades of publishing know-how means that authors and publishers now have access to some of the best literary experts in the industry, all in one team and all working together to build buzz around their books.
The Bookollective team regularly speak at publishing events and write for literary magazines. If you’d like to quiz them for your forthcoming event or feature, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org

Esther has been obsessed with books since the age of two, when she used to chill with her Ladybird library.

Helen McCusker has worked in publishing for the past decade and before that enjoyed a varied career in broadcast journalism, including entertainment reporting for the BBC. She gained a degree in Journalism and a Masters degree in Radio before her first job as News Editor for a regional radio station. Having worked 'on the other side', the award-winning book publicist has managed a busy newsroom and interviewed many authors live on-air, so knows exactly how a good author press release should read – and the best time to strike. She combined these skills to launch her own specialist book publicity agency in 2008. Since then, Helen has helped authors across the world to achieve high profile media coverage and boost their book sales.
Helen launched @TheAuthorHour on Twitter in 2016 - a weekly social media forum where writers can talk about everything from publishing to promotion and share their writing tips.
